1. Understand your Keto Macronutrient requirements
You need to use the Ketogains Calculator – where you’ll have to put in your body weight and body fat – and you’ll be getting the grams of fat, protein and carbs you can consume.
For Carbohydrate, you should generally only consume less than 25 grams of net carbs. If you are involved in endurance sports, you can consider getting 50 grams of carbs but I would only recommend getting 50 carbs if your body is already fat adapted. Also, do note that net carb means total carbs minus the amount of fiber you have consumed.
For Protein, you should consume more than 30 – 40 grams of protein in one setting ensuring that your body gets into ketosis. However, you have to make sure you don’t consume too little or too much of it.
